Regarding public domain books

Has anyone looked into publishing books from the public domain? I'm interested in finding out more. Pat O'Bryan recommends trying this first to get started. I really like home publishing and photography. Which web sites are available for public domain books? Thank you so much!

Pat O'Bryan's new book - Get a copy!

I've been doing a lot of home publishing as charity work for high school alumni and service organizations for 13 years now. I think it's about time I start to get paid for my services.

I have just read Pat O'Bryan's fantastic new publication, Your Portable Empire. I'm new to internet marketing, but I would highly recommend this book!

Last October (2006) a friend introduced The Secret DVD to me. Since then, I've signed up for any e-news that Dr. Joe Vitale (who

Jon,

Anytime.... that is what this place is for. To help each other with solving needs.

If we all helped each other solve problems with solutions, this world would be a much better place.

We are all on this planet together, and it is up to US to take good care of each other and the planet. Otherwise, we would have nothing. What other planet would we escape to if we ruined this one? We presently don't have the technology advanced enough to transport the entire billions of humans to another world.

Sorry folks, but we are all here for the long haul. Not just for those living today, but for your future children, grand children and great grandchildren. We need to preserve the planet so future generations can enjoy what we take for granted today.

It is sad to see the polar bears in danger of becoming extinct due to the global warming and the melting of the ice caps. No more debates.. it is actually happening.

But it is not too late. We can all make a difference. One person reaching out in caring and love to another. One reaching out to a few, then a few more, and then to hundreds, thousands, and eventually millions around the world.

We can make a difference. It is possible, if we believe and live a Zero Limits life...

It all starts with YOU.

I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, and thank you. (see Zero Limits to see what these words mean)

I just thought I would say what is truly important. We can make all the money and success we want, but without each other it is meaningless...

Be part of the solution, and not the problem. We are the revolution that will change the world... one person and one heart at a time...

Jon,

Here is the link to open office for Windows / Linux machines
http://www.openoffice.org/

If you need the mac version it is called Neo Office
http://www.neooffice.org/neojava/en/index.php

I've used both the Windows and Mac versions of OpenOffice. They both support pdf.

You can also convert MS word documents into PDF by using Adobe Acrobat. The pro version will allow you to control what people do with the pdf... such as copying or pasting of content, they can print or not print, etc.

I hope this all helps

Jon,

I know that Publisher does not have a pdf feature. Publisher does have limitations. I use OpenOffice (sun) which is free and has a word processor that has a save /export to pdf feature. There is also Adobe Indesign which is a similar page layout program that will allow you to save to pdf.

MS publisher has severe limitations, which is why I don't use it. I was a graphic designer for many years, and I usually use Adobe products as they are the publishing industry standard. For the ordinary pdf files, I use OpenOffice or other free open source software.

I have also seen the secret many times, and I am a student member of Joe Vitale's Hypnotic Marketing courses. I am studying EVERYTHING that Joe Vitale and Pat O Bryan is writing....

I highly recommend Joe's latest book "Zero Limits"...

Happy Marketing, just follow Pat and Joe, and you will do just fine!!!
